Product Description: Tulip is inspired by a special boy with long hair, medium complexion, and a love of yellow tulips. Yellow tulips represent happiness, cheerfulness, and hope. Victorians believed that yellow tulips literally meant “There's sunshine in your smile.”
He is carved from cherry wood and painted to allow some of the natural wood grain to show through. His shorts are carved and painted to emulate the form of twin tulip blooms. He is adorned with a matching yellow backpack secured with leather straps. His face, hands and feet are left unpainted and polished with beeswax to show the beauty of the cherry wood.
